While implementing the project, a cycle of literature dissemination events was organised that was dedicated to the 85th birth anniversary of poet Justinas Marcinkevicius and that included the following: poetry and music nights “Life Goes on and on” (Lith. Gyvenimas eina ir eina), “Meadow of Eternal Concern” (Lith. Amžinojo rūpesčio pieva), travelling exhibition “Justinas Marcinkevicius. From the Beginning to Today” (Lith. Justinas Marcinkevičius. Nuo ištakų iki šiandienos), conference “Time Cannot be Chosen” (Lith. Laiko negali pasirinkti).
    Exhibition “Justinas Marcinkevicius. From the Beginning to Today” provides a new outlook on Justinas Marcinkevicius’ life and works through photos, words written or said by the poet during various events, thoughts of the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, literary scientist Prof. Viktorija Daujotyte, literary critic Valentinas Sventickas, Monsignor Juozapas Uzupis, wife Genovaite, daughter Jurga. Ten stands speak of poet Justinas Marckinkevicius’ life and works, professional and social activities, collectivity with the people of the Prienai district.
    The exhibition was presented in the Justinas Marcinkevicius Prienai Public Library, Prienai, Stakliskes, Balbieriskis, Jieznas cultural and recreational centres, Tomas Zilinskas gymnasium in Veiveriai, Prienai District Municipality, Jurgis Kuncinas Alytus Public Library, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, J. Keliuotis Rokiskis District Municipality Public Library, Kupiskis and Birzai Municipalities Public Libraries.
    During conference “Time Cannot be Chosen”, the following people carried out presentations: Prof. Dr. Viktorija Daujotyte, literary critic Valentinas Sventickas, Prof. Dr. Ausra Martsiute-Linartiene, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marijus Sidlauskas, Prof. Dr. Vytautas Radzvilas, writer Gintare Adomaityte, poet Rimvydas Stankevicius, employee of the Vrublevskiai Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences Ana Vencloviene, journalist Ramute Simukauskaite and Lithuanian language teacher-expert Lina Malinauskiene.
    Lithuanian Council for Culture funded the project and provided 3,800 EUR
