The project provided equal opportunities for all the members of the community to get to know literary values; it activated literary cognition processes and encouraged creative activity.
3 literature and music nights were organised (“Fate Tore Us like Weeds” (Lith. Mus kaip žolę likimas išrovė), “Spring. Look There. Maironis is Blooming” (Lith. Pavasaris. Anava. Maironis jau žydi), “... People Keep Turning to Themselves” (Lith.... amžinas žmogaus ėjimas į save)) along with the following 6 creative nights: for writers Elena Kurklietyte and Filomena Taunyte, poet Dalia Teiserskyte, essayist Rolandas Rastauskas and poet, literary scientist Rimantas Kmita; presentations of 5 books: Talking River (Lith. Prakalbintoji upė) by Stefa Jursiene, To See with the Heart (Lith. Širdimi regėti) and So That the Winds Don’t Carry Around (Lith. Kad vėjai neišpustytų) by Vytautas Bubnys, Shadow JMM (Lith. Šešėlis JMM) by Aldona Ruseckaite, My Name is Maryte (Lith. Mano vardas Marytė) by Alvydas Slepikas; exhibition of collages Enchantment of Eyes (Lith. Akių monai). The literary musical programmes were carried out by actress Olita Dautartaite, Grazina Urbonaite, Vilija Grigaityte, Dalia Jankauskaite, composer and performer Andrius Kulikauskas, birbynė player Kastytis Mikiska, violinist Aidas Strimaitis, pianist Egle Strimaitiene, flutist Valdas Andriuskevicius. Meetings with writers Dovile Zelciute and Birute Jonusaite, art critic Nijole Tumeniene, literary scientist Petras Brazenas, literary critic, publicist Statys Lipskis were organised. 23 professional writers, literary critics and performers took part in the events for the dissemination of literature.
